Brent & Julian
After 20 years together Brent & Julian both finally said "I Do" on the Glorious Twelfth of August in front of family and friends under a stunning sunflower arch made by Julian and the wonderful Lesley Anne McWhirter. Mike, their 15 yr old working cocker spaniel was the best man(dog) and was just too adorable wearing his little tartan bow tie. Sadly Hugo the working clumber spaniel also 15 sadly passed away before their big day so he definitely deserves a mention as I'm certain he was on their minds. Everything about the day was spectacular and I was absolutely delighted to document it all for them.
Brent, Julian and a small army of friends worked so hard to create the most beautiful day. They magically transformed the King George V Memorial Hall in Chapel of Garioch from a plain, lifeless room into a vintage wedding dream. Every detail thought of and so very personal. I wanted to share some images and also give a massive shout out to those who made it all happen.
The flowers by Urban Florals & Forbes flowers in Alford were absolutely outstanding. The vintage props bought from Little Louis Haven blew everyone away. The amazing savoury cheese cake by the Kilted Frog Deli in Inverurie looked stunning. The catering service provided by Thistle Catering ltd was delicious. The amazing cake toppers made by a close friend Nicky Spencer gave everyone a giggle and they sat on top of the sweetest of cakes made by The Empire Baker. The Ruby Slipper Bar Artwork which was done by artist Debbie Plaskett artist, those magical lanterns that lit up the hall in the evening were so romantic. All the decor was supplied by Brent himself with the bunting by the very lovely Nicola Cousins and Brent. I'll definitely be tapping him up for advice next time I decorate! Everything, even right down to the buttons on the table was just so beautiful..... and not to forget Callum Cruickshank Scottish dance band who kept the tunes rollin' out.
Everyone laughed, cried and just had so much fun...it really was ALL the feels & these images definitely tell a wonderful story. It's going to be a day that I will cherish forever....it was just perfect.
I'd also like to give a massive thank you & high five to the very talented Jade Esson Photography who popped along as 2nd photographer for the day.
